Hello everyone! Long time no BLOG!

I'd like to share with you some of the things that us Opats have been up to lately

We went to the fair last month and saw lots of cool animals. I liked the sheep the best.

Then as we were waiting for our friends to ride in a show, I decided to look for my belly button to make sure I didn't lose it in the animal barns.

Whew! I found it!

I also never pass up the opportunity to get my hands... er butt dirty! I painted my diaper, then the floor, carpet, and wall.

Don't worry, I am very good at cleaning up. This is my new vacuum cleaner.

And the Swiffer is useful too!

Here I am trying on my Snow White dress for upcoming Halloween.

Check out this silly headband that came with it. Mom could've picked Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella ... you know, a princess with blond hair!

But it is still cute on me!

Last weekend was my cousin Dominic's birthday. Look at this cool train cake grandma made! I kept stealing the Keebler fudge wheels and M&M's

Here I am with Uncle Pat. He and Aunt Kelly are getting married in a few weeks so we get to drive back again soon! Mommy and daddy are in the wedding so I will be sitting with grandma and grandpa during the ceremony.

I had fun running around with my cousins. We played outside on the swings, slide, 4-wheeler, and wagon. Then we took a quick break so that everyone could get a cousin picture!

Other news: My recent 15 month appointment went well. I am still 90th for height and am 55th for weight.

Also, I just got school pictures taken this week. I hope they turn out fabulous so you can have one!

See you soon!

Back to School

Hello everyone! I started school yesterday. Mommy is studying for her final exams this week and she goes back to work next week. I was very angry/sad when she left me. I mean, look at me! How can you leave this face?

I've been working on my exploratory behaviors lately. I've discovered that I can climb up on the coffee table......

...the music table...

...the kitchen chairs (and table)...

...my alphabet train...
...as well as the toilet and bathroom sink! I wonder why mom and dad always keep that door closed!

I like this giraffe book I got from the library. I'm also wearing a giraffe shirt and love to point to the giraffe wall art in the hallway. I guess it is my new favorite animal!

Here I am painting different colored leaves on a tree. Look at the concentration on my face!

I love riding in my forward facing seat!

This weekend we went to the Old Mill Winery for dinner and to watch Uncle Eddie play his guitar. Another band played too and I loved running on stage with them. She let me strum her guitar while she played the chords. Then I danced when they played, "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Down By the Bay" for me!

Daddy took me to a Captain's game yesterday! I had so much fun! Can you tell by the picture who got me dressed for it?

Well, mom's goal of no bottles was successful... but I still have my pacifier every now and then. I think this is the reason I'm still allowed to have it. It always makes mom and dad laugh.

Summer Fun!

Mom and I went back to the zoo since I fell asleep last time and didn't get to see everything. We met Becky and Garrett there. I got to see the aquatics, primates, and cats this time. I did fall asleep in the rainforest, but I woke up to get my picture taken in front of the waterfall.

This was the coolest thing EVER! I got to hold a piece of lettuce and Gracie the Giraffe came by and ate it out of my hand! She had a long tongue and almost licked my hand!

Garrett and I hang out a lot together! But soon we will be back to school.

So we gotta hang out while we can! We were playing with cool puzzles here. Some of them made sounds when you put the pieces in.

Here is me with my cousin Dominic. He came to visit me from Michigan and we went to a splash park. I like this place a lot.

Grandma H. came too and hung out with me while mom and dad were working for the weekend.

Grandpa H. also came to the splash park. He took some good pictures of us all and I stopped to pose with him for this one.

Oh no, what happened? Where did the sprinklers go?

There they are! Quick, take the picture so I can go run!

You want to play too mom?

Here I am on Curran and Cindy's 4-wheeler. We took a ride in the field and it was very relaxing.

I also went to a wedding. Here I am with the groom, Dylan. Aren't we cute?

I liked walking down the path and stopping to smell all the flowers hanging nearby.

What a beautiful day it was for a wedding.

Hugs and Kisses
