Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My!!!

Mom, what is that thing? Is it ever gonna move?

I couldn't see the wolves, but there were lots of big fish in the water inside the wolf area!

Now I could have stared at the giraffes all day! Look how close I was. I waved to him. He saw me, but he didn't wave back.

Hmm... these elephants are nice dad, but can we go back to the giraffe please?

The new elephant crossing is open. We didn't get to see them cross to the other side though.

I got to see bears, giraffes, camels, elephants, and kangaroos. I also chased sparrows and bumble bees. Those weren't even in cages! Can you believe it? Then I passed out before we could make it to the monkeys and aquarium. Guess I'll have to make another trip!

This really isn't zoo related, but here is an update on just how well I can feed myself now days.

Mommy told me that monkeys love bananas. I LOVE bananas too! If all monkeys love bananas and I love bananas, does that mean I am a monkey?

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hello party people! Thank you all for coming to my 1st birthday party. I had so much fun hanging out with everyone and eating cake. The weather has been nicer lately and I've had tons of cool stuff to try out!



My car is fun to drive... and stand up on too.


I know you just cut the grass Daddy, but you missed this spot!


I couldn't wait for Daddy to put this swing up! I want to go outside every day and swing. I don't even care if it is raining.


My cousins Reese and Lexis were playing Dominoes so I thought I'd join them.




Do you like my Beatles shirt? It's one of mommy's favorites.



Uncle Pat saved mommy by helping her decorate 30 bug cakes just before people showed up to the party.


Oh my, this cake is delicious!


I was happy that Garrett came! Unfortunately, I was sick when he had his party and I couldn't make it over there until the next week. But I'm sure we'll hang out this summer and play with lots of toys!

My alphabet train is so much fun. I like to stand on it, and put the blocks (and many other things) into the engine slot and watch it shoot out the back. I even found a nice comb, toy links, and pens that fit into the slot.
